The Imaginarium Ensemble is a community theatre company led by Artistic Director Gaynor La Rocca and a team of professional Associate Artists - musical directors, designers, makers, choreographer, voice and text director and fight director.

Auditions are held for each production and are open to anyone aged 18 - 99+ years, no previous experience is necessary. Rehearsals take place evenings and weekends at Cockpit House and Prescot Woodland Theatre, with regular performances in theatres and outdoor venues across the Liverpool City Region, and bi-annual tours to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Audition opportunities are posted on our social media and advertised via local press and partner's websites. To find out more, contact gaynor@imaginariumtheatre.co.uk 

This summer the Imaginarium Ensemble will be touring parks, gardens and great halls across the Liverpool City Region with a reprise of their critically acclaimed 2016 production of Shakespeare's 'As You Like It'. Tickets will go on sale Friday 23rd April.

Behind the Scenes...

Imaginarium also run an extensive volunteer programme with opportunities for adults age 16 - 80+years to work with our practitioners to support with the making of costume, set and props, and support our tours as backstage or front of house.
