Young Actors Company (16-19’s)
Since 2015 Imaginarium Young Actors have been producing annual productions in partnership with the National Theatre Connections programme. With performances in local venues and at the NT Connections Regional Festival, this year we are staging A Series of Public Apologies (in response to an unfortunate incident in the school lavatories) by John Donnelly. Rehearsals begin in January, with performances in Knowsley, Liverpool and Manchester in spring 2021.
Contact lee@imaginariumtheatre.co.uk to book an audition.
Young Shakespeare Company (11-18’s)
2021 will see the launch of the Imaginarium Young Shakespeare Company in partnership with the Shakespeare North Playhouse. We are offering a new opportunity for young people aged 11-18 to work with Michael Corbidge, Royal Shakespeare Company Associate (and Imaginarium patron) and Imaginarium Youth Director Julie Ashurst, to bring to life Shakespeare’s most beloved pastoral comedies A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The production will be staged at Prescot Woodland Theatre and tour to Liverpool City Region parks and gardens summer 2021.
More details and audition dates will be released in the New Year. Contact julie@imaginariumtheatre.co.uk to register your interest in auditioning.

Young Cultural Leaders (14-19’s)
As part of our commitment to developing opportunities for the young people of Knowsley, we are offering placements within the Imaginarium community, giving young people aged 14 to 19 a range of experience, working alongside our professional practitioners, supporting every aspect of productions, Youth Theatre and community engagement. YCLs will also work towards Silver and Gold Arts Awards, recognised qualifications from Trinity College London.

Arts Awards & Artsmark
As a registered Arts Award Centre we deliver high quality qualifications as part of our ongoing work in schools and within our own Children and Young People's programmes.
These recognised qualifications help young people to build and develop social and academic skills; whilst also having fun and building their confidence.
Imaginarium are also an schools' Artsmark partner. The Artsmark Partnership Programme is an Arts Council England endorsed network of arts and cultural organisations that understand the Artsmark criteria and can support schools and education settings on their Artsmark journey to embed arts and culture across the curriculum.
